Right now no one has the key to unlock the files but they have been mirrored all over the internet. Carried around by the public through every social media outlet. This file has the potential for almost anything. I'm intrigued but not enough to download it myself just yet.
After the file was released Michael Grunwald of Time Magazine wrote a tweet "I can't wait to write a defense of the drone strike that takes out Julian Assange." He later apologized for the tweet but in many eyes the damage had been done. Time Magazine even made a public statement to distance themselves from the comment and Grunwald.
