If you haven't caught up on the case of Andrew "Weev" Auernheimer this next article from Medium is for you. Weev has already spent over a year in prison and part of that time in solitary away from any interactions with other people. Weev is on trial for hacking information from AT&T but the information he "hacked" was made public. Weev had only taken the publicly accessible data and shared it with others to exploit the flaw. He actually didn't have to hack anything and the whole time he was working with positive intentions. Still hung up in court, there is plenty of confusion just defining a hacker let alone proving him to be one. Weev is a troll and a good one at that.
